In order to promote the love of reading and inspire our children’s growing minds, please consider supporting our“Adopt A Book” Program through the online Titlewish fundraiser program.  “Adopt A Book” provides you with a unique way to support the Manasquan Elementary School Library and at the same time celebrate a special occasion in your child’s life – (welcome a new baby or pet, celebrate special occasions, observe favorite holidays, honor a special teacher, remember special people, remember an event, applaud a performance, and of course birthdays, etc.). All of the money we raise goes directly towards purchasing new books for our school library [and Follett will add 10% to the total]. Your commitment to education will give the students high quality books and materials for learning and enrichment.  Please consider participating in order to help us reach our goal of $4,000 by the end of January.

There are two ways to participate:

1.      You can simply make amonetary donation by visiting From this website, you can donate money via credit card by clicking on the link. “Donate”. All of the money you donate will be spent directly on books for the library that will be purchased through Follett Library Services.  Plus,your donation benefits Manasquan Elementary School and may be tax-deductible; see your tax advisor

2.     You can also target a specific book from our Follett library wish list.  The Follett library wish list contains books that the students and media specialist have selected.  Students participate in this program by submitting requests to the media specialist in the library.  To target a specific book instructions are here

The students will be so excited to see all of the new books in the library!  With high quality and high interest materials coming into the library, our goal is to encourage the love of reading at an early age and to continue this love throughout one’s life!

Thank you so much for your continued support!

The Prevention Works Project

Talking to your children about the dangers of prescription drug abuse is one of the most important things that you can do as a parent or guardian. You are a role model for your children, and they learn much of what they will carry with them throughout their lives from your examples and influence.   Read more.

A New Program in Elkdom is an old one! Yes, it is the Junior Elks Program called “the Antlers.” It is a chance for young people in our communities to get involved with the Elks in the many service-related projects our Lodges sponsor.  Their major objectives are as follow:

*To teach respect for parents and love of home;

*To inculcate the fundamentals of good citizenship;

*To aid in a worthy cause;

*To establish foundation of character;

*To promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members;

*And to respect the conviction of others in the matters of worship and religion is true Americanism.

*To gain valuable Volunteer hours for High School and College transcripts through charitable and benevolence activities in your community.

This program is open for all young adults between the ages of 12 years old and 20 years old.

The meetings are held at the Manasquan Elks Lodge on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6:00 PM.
